Puppy World

Today I spent part of my Sunday in company with these cuties. It was so much fun! I wish I could take them all with me to Canada! 

I'm now getting ready for a looong traveling day tomorrow, I will be flying back to Canada in the early AM. I heard the weather in Montreal is quite Hot now so I'm excited about that. Sad to leave Mexico, but I know I'll be back soon.

Montreal From The Sky

 Here are some shots of Montreal from the Sky and me waiting to board my early morning flight. Isn't the 2nd picture soo cute with all those little houses? Looks like a scale model of Montreal :)

Well, I am still in Mexico and guess what!?.... I got the flu : ( Booo

Dolphin Hope

 I think I'm ready to take a vacation where I can be in contact with Dolphins once again. They have an indescribable power over me to make me feel so carefree and peaceful every time I'm with them. 

The places I've had the amazing opportunities in my life to either swim or spend hours with them (lucky girl!), have been in Cozumel, Ixtapa, Cancun, Varadero Cuba, and California! 

It was in Varadero Cuba where I spent about 5 hours just playing and interacting with them, and the best of all?... It was just me and them! No trainers or spectators ; )

Peekaboo Nopal

Hey guys! Sorry for the poor quality of today's photos. I left home in such a hurry tonight that I forgot my camera!.... Luckily, I had my iphone with me so I could still take a photo of this big cactus I found! 

For the ones who don't know it... The nopal Cactus is a well known Mexican symbol, it is part of the Aztec Mythology and it's even on the Mexican flag. This national symbol produces a delicious fruit called "tuna" (prickly pear), which is One of my favourite fruits! You can also shave off the thorns and eat the flesh! It is such a nutritious plant full of dietary fiber! If you are ever visiting Mexico, make sure you try it! ; )

These past few days since I arrived in Mexico have been very relaxing! Nothing like when I am in Montreal! I've been spending quality time with my family and friends and "enjoying" or should I say... enduring the heat....

Tomorrow's forecast in Irapuato? 37 degrees! :o My Canadian friends might feel jealous.....Or not?... I find it a bit too much!

Tacos And Singing Mix Well

These pictures were taken at my favourite "Taqueria" in my hometown. These tacos are sooo yummy and healthy too, that I could probably eat them every single night! I probably go to this restaurant 2-3 times a week when I am visiting my family in Mexico. I love them! 

 

On another note... I had an important family event last night and guess what happened? Someone went up on stage and sang! Yeap….That someone it's me! I did an unplanned duet with my wonderful cousin Paola, she's an amazing musician! I guess we sounded  pretty good cuz everyone was saying that if we would've rehearsed the song, it wouldn't have sounded as great. : ) I spotted a couple of camaras and phones filming us while we were singing, so If I can get the video of it, I will post it for you to see it. We had so much fun together on stage, and the audience seemed like they did too : ) What a special, unforgettable and inspiring night!

Little Mexican Collection

 

It is 33 degrees in Irapuato, Mexico right now and I don't even feel the necessity to work out right now since even the smallest effort or movement makes you sweat! Today I'm going to spend it getting a tan and hanging out with Andy...my adorable niece. Canadian and Mexican weather are poles apart, and so I want to enjoy this change as much as I can. After all, changes are always good!

Waiting Wings

6am... Montreal Airport. Waiting to board my plane.... Can you feel the bliss on face? 

Every time I have the opportunity to fly back to Mexico, it feels wonderful to be able to see my family, friends and return to my roots. Today has been a very relaxing day with my family, we made cocoa jello,  baked banana and raisins muffins and just rest all day...

Video! - In The Clouds

A little sneak peak for you of my looong traveling day. I wasn't able to sleep 1 minute last night :S so I have been awake for nearly 32 hours now, AND counting… I'm so glad I didn't get into the wrong flights because honestly I feel dead tired!

I apologize in advance for the not so good quality of the video and all the noise in the background, but hopefully the song will make it a bit more enjoyable to watch ;)

Sleepless

 

Listening to this song... which I love! while getting ready to head to the airport. I didn't sleep at all, so I will have a HUGE coffee and hope for a pleasant looong day of traveling. I have always been scared of flying but the last flights I've been taking haven't terrify me at all, on the contrary, I've found them pretty relaxing and a great time to spend some quality time with myself....  Meditation, Music and lots of thinking. I can't wait to eat some real tacos!!!  mmm See ya in Mexico!

Last Minute

I can't believe I am even writing this but there is no doubt that when you really want something in life,  it can become true. We only have to wish and pursue it! 

As you already know, I wanted to be in Mexico this weekend so bad for a very special family event and guess where I am heading in a few hours?? To the Airport!! I am flying early morning to my wonderful homeland and I couldn't be more excited. If I could only have a little robot who can pack for me!!!

Oh well...... Expect a pleasant change of colors, landscapes and probably more skin showing in my following posts. I am so ready for some serious HOT weather!

This shot really demonstrates my feelings lately... Carefree, lucky, fearless, proud, strong, happy, and vey excited.

I felt extremely lucky on Sunday night when I looked out my window and saw this view. Montreal doesn't have my favourite weather in the world, winters are extremely cold and long while summers are short, but sunsets like this one are just breathtaking! This picture reminds me how beautiful life is.

The Plane Wish

I took this picture last weekend and that Airplane made me feel like it is so simple to just get in one and fly anywhere... I'm supposed to be back in Mexico this coming weekend for a special family event but my hectic schedule these days just seems like it won't allow it to happen. On the bright side, however, I've been getting some amazing news about new job opportunities that made me extremely excited! ...so we'll see what happens... I'll make sure I tell You.
